News: A Sparrow Met an Accident

一直来历不明的麻雀被发现头塞在木板里。

这真是一个很奇特的事件。在一个中午，我们发现怎么屋外黏住一个好像麻雀的身体，但是头却不见了。跑出去看，原来是一只麻雀的头塞在屋子的木板里头。当它被发现的时候已经是发霉了。

我们怀疑当它在捉虫吃时，可能突然被吓到，头要伸出来的时候扭断了颈项，因而当场毙命。

可怜的麻雀。

Blood Donation

We went for blood donation at the hospital during CNY in this town. It is the first time we donate blood out of our hometown.

When we arrived, we find the hospital was pretty silent. Not many people around. After knowing where is the blood bank, we proceed to 2nd floor and seek for help from a staff.
As usual, we filled up the form and get prepared for blood donation. Below is the photo at the end of the donation process:

I hope you noticed that we were not given a plaster. We were told by the staff that the hospital has run out of plaster! =_=!

Hospital budget tight?

Pumpkin

I never cook a pumpkin before. This pumpkin was given by a friend. It was so big, so huge that I have thought for 2 weeks on how to cook it. 

When we decide to cook it and share it with other friends, we found that the pumpkin was rotten. Finally we have to put it in the waste bin. 

Few minutes later, lots of insects came to enjoy the pumpkin we threw away. And below are the photos of one of the insects. 

We do not know why this insect comes with pairs and sticked together for a very long time.

It seems to have only 5 legs..

House

Everytime I see this house I felt burdened.

Can you see the simple house built with some zinc and plywood? I just wonder how can the family survive in the house. I don't see any lights during the night. Sometimes I see kids running around naked. Many people in the world can live in such a simple life, but how about those of us who lives in a house made of bricks, with our rooms completed with air-conditioner, with toilets that have basins, showers..

Yet we still complain so much, spend so much on nonsense, waste so much for "self-indulgence". Shall we repent?

Unknown Insect

We always see this kind of insect near the basin. It likes to hide and walks very fast. Very hard to kill it. It is about 1.5 cm long.

无论我们去到那里似乎都有燕子的出现。

This dog has became our "pet". He is actually the "guard" of this home, oldest among the other dogs. He is about 7-8 years old. According to the people here, this dog is very smart. He has caught a thieve before. 

After few times being "sayang" by us, he likes to sleep in front of our door. Patiently waiting for us to "sayang" him again.
